Daleks Exist!
Was reading the news today and ran a cross a story that talked about this bad boy.
This is a real life 'security bot' that ran over a small child at a shopping center near Stanford University, not to far from where I live. They remind me way to much of these guys for my comfort level.
You can read the article http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/sec ... a?section=.
I am not sure if the robot though the child was named 'Sarah Conner' or if it just said 'EXTERMINATE!'.

"No animals were hurt during the making of this documentary, only a child."
Makes you shudder to think what it would do if it actually detected criminal activity.

Roger.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

Time to start building lots of stairways all over the place.

Re: Daleks Exist!
That reminds me, many moons ago (very late 80s I think) we were walking round the back of the Usher Hall in Edinburgh when we came across two Daleks at the back of the hall arguing as to what way the entrance to the hall was
We carefully followed them round keeping out of sight and at a safe distance only to discover it was a Dr Who convention on inside
