You mean across the board, or from our 2,000 plus membership, Kevin?
I'm delighted with almost 150,000 signatures, but so few from CBFS, unless people have signed but not posted here.

Wonderful news :welldone:

Unfortunately, Mike I cant see your link. If I try and log into my Google account using my registered email address, I get directed to a page asking me to add Gmail to my account. As I don't want a Gmail address, I declined and was unable to view your link.

Anyway, back to the more important issue of George 'Johnny' Johnson finally being awarded his MBE. This is great news, but should have happened decades ago. Also, all of the other crew members deserved the same.

For anyone else having problems with the Google link, here is an alternative from the BBC-

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-41903492

This quote particularly struck me -

'he said he was indebted to the thousands of people who signed a petition calling for his wartime service to be recognised'

He feels indebted to us? That's totally the wrong way round. We are forever indebted to himself and all the others of that time who in many cases gave everything, that we can now live in a free and democratic society.

Regards

Kevin
