A friend and I tied a length of fishing line from am upstairs window to the bottom of the garden. A couple of curtain hooks were screwed into several old Airfix airliners. They were then stuffed with cotton wool doused in nail varnish remover (acetone or propanone, if you prefer). The models were then hooked onto the fishing line, set alight and sent on a fiery death dive. If only we'd had the technology of today - it would all have been on Youtube.
