Gates open at 0900 although the queue normally forms well before then.
The first aircraft to run will be at 1100 (starting engines about 1045) and happens to be the VC10 (due to size, she tends to go first or last). After that she will taxi around to the back and be towed into the show area. At 1pm, Keith Wilson, author of the Haynes VC10 manual, will be conducting a book signing in or near the aircraft (so if anyone was looking for an excuse to come, there it is! ).

Myself and a former VC10 pilot colleague in the front seats with one of our founder engineers at the panel. The group is a fairly diverse one of about half a dozen former VC10 aircrew (and one who isn't), a dozen or so current and former RAF engineers and several enthusiast civilians with various affiliations to the '10, be it through working at Vickers, family connections or even just a specific interest in the jet.
I won't use up the forums capacity with media, but we have a well supported FaceBook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/580108962076019/) and our Twitter (@ZD241_VC10) has a lot of "what we do, as we do it!" type photos.
I worked at Vickers for about a year in 1961/2 after leaving Fairoaks and before moving on to Heathrow. Back then, one could easily pick from any number of aviation related jobs if you had the required skills.
I was in the VC10 wing shop building the outer wings. Just across from us, they were building the Wing Box, a massive unit. So unbelievably noisy in that hangar.
