Isn't it curious how Auld Lang Syne & Scotland's Hogmanay has taken hold around the world? Someone sent me a video link to the firework display in Hong Kong last night, and there they were singing 'Aud Rang Syne' with some sort of electronic beat-box backing. Echoes of the Empire, I suppose.
Anyway, Happy New Year to all here, and to the loved ones of those who's memory we hold dear.
