I love the covers and adverts from most Aeroplane and Flight magazines from the 1950 & '60s but for some reason this one really caught my eye! I had to scan and edit it and also thought those who inhabit these parts might also like it?! Click to access larger format on Flickr.

Re: Blackburn cover art
Great art cover Andy, whenever I see photographs of the Beverley I can't help thinking how the hell does it fly?
The cruise speed was only 173 mph and had a range of 1300 miles with standard payload. Can't imagine the boredom of the passengers in having to make a long flight in it though.
Regards
Nigel.

Re: Blackburn cover art
Depressingly having recently made 8 hour flights in the back of both a C-17 and an A400 I know exactly how they would have felt. I was going a bit wibble towards the end...Nigel H-J wrote: ↑01 Jun 2018, 15:28Great art cover Andy, whenever I see photographs of the Beverley I can't help thinking how the hell does it fly?
