They could can it!! 8)
Drinking canned beer is only allowed on festivals in this country and will otherwise get you verbally beaten up.
Same for plastic bottles.

Temperatures just surpassed 38°C/100F over here. And that's in the shade.

I think I'm going to book myself a holiday to Antartica

According to one expert he has stated that the weather here in the UK has been affected by the Jet Stream that controls our weather and it is behaving in a strange way that it is looping and as we are at the south of the Jet Stream this is why we are getting the hot weather.

So lets see if other experts turn round and say different! :dunno:

BTW, it has reached 94F here today and is still in the nineties.

Regards
Nigel.

We just had rain. Baking heat and blue skies, then a sudden downpour out of nowhere, and straight back to clear and hot. *-)

Same here, local heat storm with showers at the moment. Sadly the rain is neither refreshing nor plentiful.

The rains didn't arrive before the thermometer had topped at 40.8°C/105.4F.* I don't think I even had such temperatures when I went to Portugal for summer a couple of years ago. x_x

* And I mean - in the shade.

I've just looked at Wind Map, with the Misery Index overlay enabled. There is a layer of misery over East Anglia at the moment.
