Thanks for the news, Eric.
Sad though it is, there's the huge positive that Mary lived so long, and was bright and enthusiastic so close to her demise.
We found the video lovely.
R.I.P. and Thank you.

Did she ever write a book? I recall seeing an interview with her where she had delivered a Meteor (she had not seen one before) and commented that she did not have time to read the pilots notes.

Brave woman.

Very sad to hear this but she lived a long and had a memorial life.

Watched a documentary on the ATA and she told some amazing stories, just cannot imagine having to get into an aircraft especially something as big as a Lancaster with no radio or navigator, just a flight engineer for company and getting it to an RAF Base, a lot of them did not even have any tuition on how to fly on instruments even.

Blue skies forever. RIP.

Regards
Nigel.

So sad to hear of her passing. A great lady indeed.

"Did she ever write a book?"

Yes she did write a book "A Spitfire Girl" which is available in both hard cover and kindle version from Amazon.
