Large r/c planes

Post by TobyV »

Photos of large model aircraft from two recent events over my way, firstly at Hausen am Albis (Switzerland) on October 7th and then last Sunday the exhibition "Faszination Modellbau" (Germany) at Messe Friedrichshafen.

This aims to be the world's largest and most complex model aeroplane. This Concorde is just over 10 metres long, weighs nearly 150kg and will be powered by four JetCat engines:

In addition to aircraft, there were also trains, steam engines, earth moving vehicles, tanks, quadcopters, skiers / snow equipment, submarines, yachts, ships (many tugs and ships looking like they belong to the oil & gas industry) but this appealed to me because it's close to something I would like to build:
