Thanks Brian,
Might try that jigijig-thing.
The Kennewell set is based on a different programme, "jigsaw1" or something, and to get extra features, you need "jigsaw2" maybe I'll read about it and see cost/benefits. Would make a change from spider solitaire.

Just completed 'Sunday on the Canal'. 450 pieces, completed in 3 hours 25 minutes and 4 seconds. Yes, I'm kind of slow.

You have a lot to answer for, young man!
Mrs A now greets me with: "Yep, he's addicted!"
Now on about my 6th Jigidi puzzle, where my times are embarassingly long, but I'm having fun. I never saw jigsaws as a fast paced pastime.
I've been focussed on the "huge" size of late (400+)

I'm very glad you're having fun, Mike. I too gravitate towards the "huge" puzzles. One of my favorite puzzle uploaders is 'trangtruong'. You can see his puzzles here. https://www.jigidi.com/user/trangtruong/ It's very relaxing to sit down with a large cup of coffee and build these jigsaws. :)

If anyone (or their better half) is of the tablet persuasion they might enjoy The Jigsaw Puzzle by MobilityWare. The wife 'plays' it every day and should be on commission the number of times she's had people ask her what it is.

It's not a 'bird', it's an aeroplane or an aircraft

Published my first puzzle to Jigidi. :) I like ship photos but unfortunately the ones on Jigidi are all quite small...mine has 330 pieces. Jigidi makes it very easy to publish puzzles.
