When Gary Lineker went to Japan to play football they called him Galy Rineker. If they can pronounce the L instead of R, and R instead of L, why can't the say it the other way round?

When I was in Japan, I sometimes used to go to a tobacconist kiosk in Chiba, where I'd ask for a pack of Camels. They always called them Cameru, so eventually that's what I started saying too. ;)
