I know this is going to sound very childish, but a year ago my b-day came up and it was the same day as another member who had posted a hand full of posts eight years earlier who nobody here could possibly know and we were both given equal billing on a HB greeting post. I felt like it had the sincerity of a computer generated form letter. So at some point I changed by on-file b-day to not show. I know it sounds silly but that's the way I felt.

Joe, Haven't you noticed that things have changed?
Graham checks for activity, and only current contributors get the full cake treatment.
"Rare birds" only get an iced bun, and he puts sand in them instead of sugar.
