According to one paper today, Ryanair which has 200+ Boeing 737max on order is rebranding them. It is calling them 737-8200s.

According to last night's Brian Cox Stargazing episode, Boeing have a multi billion contract to build space capsules that are supposedly good for 9 round trips to the ISS.
They showed two of the three under construction.
I hope they are doing a better job than they did on the "max" :worried: :worried:

Is that a super-stretched Boeing 737-200? That would get around the 737 MAX engine/ground clearance problems and also the 'pitch up' effect of the bigger, higher forward mounted engines.

The B737-200 was always my favourite B737 - I flew on several with Britannia Airways.
I still remember the anouncement 'after landing, there will be an incrrease in engine noise. This is reverse thrust and is perfeclty normal for this aircraft type'. I can also remember looking out of the window and watching those clamshell doors operate :)

It will be interesting to see if Ben lets us know which is his favourite 737 type. :hide: EricT
