Jay is like the godfather of rare and unique antique cars.
His steamers and 63 Chrysler Turbine .. 8)

A humorous bit to mention.
When Jay brought the Nash back, he had quite the worn out expression before saying, "I hope I managed to convey how fun this car is to drive"

I think the Frazer Nash had more fun with Jay.

The Frazer Nash Club ( including the "Chaingang" GN cars of the 20s ) were out in force at the Vintage Sports Car Club meeting at Prescott, Gloucestershire last Sunday . Great machines !

If Leno did an 8 hour infomercial on chafing dishes, I'd probably watch. Although sometimes his facts get a little twisted, he has a wonderful 'everyman' knack and approachability and way of presenting information. I met him 20+ years ago, and he was every bit the kind and gracious gentleman.

I've spent hours over the years watching episodes of 'Jay Leno's Garage' online. I'd recommend it to any gearhead. He's truly a Renaissance man of automobiles...knowledgeable about all makes and models. Given my colonial proclivities, I tend to gravitate towards the big 50s-60s American tanks and muscle cars...hence my knuckle-dragging 370hp 5.7L Hemi 2014 Dodge Charger daily driver...but Leno has always done a commendable job conveying enthusiasm towards all makes & marques.

And he's a thoroughly nice bloke who happens to have a couple of cars, tells a good story, and can drive a bit.
It's not a 'bird', it's an aeroplane or an aircraft
