Churchgoers

Post by Tomliner »

Paddy and Mick were listening to the priest who was saying
“ And the man named Lot was warned to take his wife and flee out of the city and not look back. But his wife did look back and was turned to salt”
Mick says to Paddy “What happened to the flea?”

There are still plenty of fleas about, but one never hears about Lots wife, not even her name, so presumably the flea didn't look back? Off in tangents again am I?

I think she was known as Mrs Lot, Keith.
She had a business "MR Slot" but her vending machines fell out of favour when coins lost their value, Not everyone knows this. ;)

Well, the vending machine business also was hurt by the typical early vending machine problem. The machine would dispense the drink liquid and then, several seconds later, the cup that was supposed to contain the drink would drop. Customers became a bit discouraged by that experience.
