What a Blast!!

I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.

Hmmm, maybe a bit of an excuse. To quote the great Jasper Carrot: "Has he set light to a fart?"
It's not a 'bird', it's an aeroplane or an aircraft

If it had been after Christmas, I would have suspected too many sprouts!

He might have used a flame lighter. Lots of cars now don't have the plug-in type lighters as standard. Some have the sockets, which are useful, but not the lighter.

My own car has a lighter, but no ash trays. As a non smoker it doesn't bother me.
