I'm deeply saddened by this news. I've followed RUSH since I was 14, way back in 1978. I've seen them six times in concert. The last time I saw them, they were on stage for over three hours (they did take a short break halfway). Neil (along with Alex and Geddy) was always superb.
The two lines in my CBFS signature are from 'Vapor Trail' by RUSH.

RIP Neil and thanks for the wonderful music and lyrics.

I too was saddened by this, a fan since I was a teenager and also saw them about 6 times, the last time just a few years ago for there R40 tour. Was sad after when they announced they would not tour any more, now we know they reason why.

Rock on!
