Wish you had recorded those Chris, would have had me chuckling.

My favourite cold caller sting is this one, I think I linked it some years ago but still find it amusing:

YouTube has tons of videos of folks with lots of time on their hands that like to play with the scammers, a lot are very cleverly done and a few turn tables on the scammer and upload a computer crashing virus script to the scammers computer. One via a folder on the desktop labeled 'Wells Fargo Bank'

A few weeks ago, I had 15 calls in a two hour period from a recorded voice stating there was a problem with my Apple i-cloud account. Press 1 to talk to a technician or call a toll free number (which was not toll free). I finally pressed one and told the "tech" I had no Apple devices except an ipod. "Ah", he said, "that must be the problem. Do you have a computer? OK go to your computer and we an fix your ipod. " Whereupon, I told him I was not born yesterday and he would be reported to the FTC, cursed at him and hung up. Then I found a way to block the number from my Verizon call log and that was the end of that pest. A Google look-up of the number revealed many reports of this particular scam so that is a good check if someone suspicious calls.
