Just to let you all know Jenny died this morning and at least is released from any possibility of suffering, which I am sure she wasn't.. She and Pip and I were treated marvellously at the Hospital which considering what is going on at the moment is even more special.

I wasn't there but knew she had gone because Holly our dog started whining and the cats made funny miaowing noises. I just then waited for the phone to go which it duly did.

Thank you all for your kind words and wishes which I passed on to Pip who also thanks you.
Simon

Sincere condolences from Daisy, Penny and I. I’m really relieved she didn’t suffer Simon and I hope you and Pip can work through this time with lots of happy memories from the past. All our love.

Very sorry also, but amazed at the animals reaction, hope they do not pine too much. You must console each other.

When Jenny had her first stroke eight years ago and was in hospital for 10 weeks the animals were a lifeline giving me something to do at home aprt from housework and were good company. Unfortunately the dog, Holly, is 14 years old and basically on palliative care herself but the three cats are OK. yes animals never cease to amaze me as to how perceptive they can be. Having worked in Animal Welfare for 30 years before retirement perhaps I shouldn't be.

Thanks again everybody for your good wishes and support.
