Apparently Germans prepared for the current crisis by stocking up with sausage and cheese for the Wurst Kase scenario :hide: EricT
Now at the age where I know I like girls but can't remember why!

That makes me feel hungry.

Many years ago, my wife's sisters husband was stationed at RAF Bruggen. They were living in quarters, and just down the road was a "Schnelly", where they brought "Bratties". We tried them when we were visiting, and I liked them.

:agree:

Just love a good Brattie with kartoffel salad. The first one I had was from the Brattie Wagen which was strategically placed at the pick up point in Hannover to get us back to barracks before curfew back IN 1967. The joys of a carefree misspent youth.

Really feel hungry now, wonder if we have any bratties in the freezer. :)
