He was given the honorary title of Colonel, but I read that because it was honorary that he would continue to use the rank of Captain.

Yes, I was looking at that too. With such a name, it's not a good idea to let an English monarch get anywhere near your neck with a sharp blade.

Watched him on the Breakfast show this morning. He was on top form as usual.
At one point the male interviewer asked him what the Queen had said to him, and he replied that it was private and that he wasn't prepared to divulge that information. He also flirted with the female interviewer, making her blush.
He was asked if he was going to take a Summer break now that things had settled down, and he replied that so many people wanted to see him and speak to him, that he wouldn't have time for a break. He said that it was because of the public that he was in his present situation, and he owed it to them to give something back.
His family were there with him as usual, and they are also deserving of a lot of credit for what he has achieved.

The funny thing a'A Man for all Seasons' paints him as a hero/martyr but he was really a man of his times. Not adverse to seeing people get what he got in the end. Just not as bad as Thomas Cromwell.
