After an exhaustive search, I haven't been able to find it.

Ah, well, I have to confess it had me beaten - no clue from you this time - so well done to AllanL for getting it. The new picture has helped but with the diamond award gone...

Pete
:( :( :( Sigh!
Gone are the days when Pete batted on, till he got a cardboard badge.
They don't make 'em like they used to!

Joe (blanston12) gets a gold badge for his correct identification:
Congratulations, Joe...Image

Requests for extra pics always welcome, but are we all done, Gentlemen?
Final 24 hours starts now....

I see a fairly small high winged monoplane. Six cylinders, contra rotating props, high performance. Thinking maybe air racer or aerobatics?

Maybe the exhausts are false?

:dunno:

I think I've found it but I still don't know what is. I have an image but sadly no name yet. I will say that the images here might lead you down the wrong path. :)

Den,
I think that the perspective has thrown you off a bit. The props are contra-rotating, but there are two pairs of them!
AFAIK, the exhausts are not false. Give me a few minutes, I'll come back with further comment.
The six stubs are correct, belonging to Merlin 140 V12s.
Meanwhile, chrispbits has been working like crazy, and came up a gold winner! :welldone:
Congratulations, Chris...Image
