Thanks Mike, but no - wiki let me down here cos it ain't listed in the SAAB page!!!! I now know that the Swedish air force give all their types a J series number regardless of who designed them.
Bit like Oz RAAF type numbers/tail numbering e.g Jindiviks were A92-XXX or the RAF spares for specific airframes I suppose.

Helloooo.......Anybody there?
Is Mick the only one working on this?
Maybe you're all glued to the TV watching the preparations for the Sydney Mardi Gras?
Or you've had enough of Bitzer. :|

Yes tough one, I have had two strikes and saving my third swing for when I'm a little more certain.

Well, I think I am Mike. I thought I'd finally found the answer - it had the unusually short distance between nose and cockpit, the right type of canopy and the rounded tailfin - that had to be it! And then I realised - the one I'd found had a tricycle undercarriage. :wall: :wall: :wall:

Got me beaten. :dunno:
