My problem is not being able to find many belly up views 'cos top view can be quite a bit different......

Are you saying that the 3 views which I found are weird, Keith?
Not weird, just not obtainable in the form you are able to show, at least I have not found any silhouettes as many recognition books had in the good ole days! An example would be for B - that wing form can suit about 3 generations or models (or iterations) by one particular manufacturer, but its difficult to pin the particular type unless the underside is available in its 3 view. I think I can have a stab at 5 of them with a 50/50 chance of success but D at the moment is elusive.

Sorry this is proving to be a needle in the proverbial.
B,C and D have caused the most trouble, though we do have one 6/6 :welldone:
Some of you have obviously put in a lot of effort, and I don't want to hear that effort wasted.
I propose that any answers you have should be submitted within 24 hours, then I'll post front views of the troublesome trio and see how much that helps.

Sorry this is later than predicted.
Unexpected burial duty for our Daughter's dog who had to be put down last night.

Here are the 3 front views:

Hope these help to sort things out.
Numbers aren't large, but there are some good scores so far. :)

Oooo-er,
Having released the front views, I'm told that the original C wings are totally wrong.
Waiting for info on this, as I can't find any alternative underside views.
Tried to get an FSX version so I could look from all angles, but can't find one. PMDG did one, but it's no longer available, and I get zero results on two freeware sites. There's mention of one for FS2002, but apparently it is not a good model.

EDIT: The following line is rubbish. The book is the 1991-92 version.
Which good ole days are we talking, Keith? This set came from the 1960s. The only earlier images I have are cave paintings.**

I agree that a lot of illustrations do show only the top view.
Ironically, Keith actually got "B" exact to the model.
Not only that, but he nailed the elusive "D" too. All this whist moving house.

[**That's actually a lie, I have loads from the 1940s]
