It was the vl Myrsky, from Finland. Produced at a time of material shortages, the MkI (bottom profile) got off to a shaky start. 3 were built, all crashed, killing 2 pilots and seriously injuring the third. This led to the MkII production model. There was a MkIII which was never built. Plenty of photos and line drawings on line for those interested.

Well done, Mike :)

Does anybody know of any internal shots or cut-away drawings of the Windsor ?

Paul, I've looked in books and on line, but couldn't find cutaways or interiors for the Windsor, probably due to it not going into production.

Eight correct identifications, then it dried up.
24 hours to posting the results, so any late entries, now's your chance.

Results day.
PeteP, Den (511Flyer), Keith (Dev One), Mick (woody901), Dale (Vc Ten), Chris Trott, PaulK.
all get a Diamond badge for identifying the Link Celestial Navigation Trainer.
In the picture on the right, a dome, representing the sky can be seen above the cockpit.
Pilot, navigator, wireless op. and bomb aimer are given accommodation.
Underneath, is a screen onto which a moving ground image is projected, so that these other crew can make observations.

Because I liked Chris' approach to this one, I'm giving him a little extra:

I've been wondering why there were so many "Views" on this Topic.
I posted some pictures using the internal "attachments tool", and proved that there were far more topic "views" than there were views of the attachments. I really don't know whether these external hits are costing Ben anything in terms of $ or not, so I'm erring on the cautious side.
There is a commercial site that uses the same name as our quiz, so I've renamed it to be specific to this Forum.

As of today, please go to "CBFS SPOTTER" to find the challenges.

In a few days, I'll edit this topic name to "Old CBFS Bitzer" to try and stop unintentional hits.

Hi Mike,

Don’t worry, we’re not charged per view. Tbh, every time someone hits the page it will register as a view, whether they are a logged in user or not, so don’t worry about it 😊

Well, I have obviously overreacted, but at least the views should be closer to the RW from now on.
