Tempest 11 had a radial engine - Centaurus, so no coolant radiator. Easily recognised if you look for the exhaust exits either side.

Thanks Keith, Should have known that! :$

Perhaps this was to catch fish, and starve the opposition. but I don't really believe that.
Anybody know the aircraft, and why it has the nasal extension?

Got a lot of the hallmarks of an Avro Cadet except for the engine cowl & a RH tractor prop.

Sorry Keith,
Should have said so earlier, but it is not an Avro.
Thanks for being first to try.
A rather obscure designer, but apparently a few have been preserved and are in use as aerobatic trainers and sport aircraft.
Here's another lump of it:

If you want to compare it with the Cadet:

Hatz CB-1, these normally don't get a radial engine, but there are a few

Chris, that would be cheap to refuel!
Pete, Not a Haltz, Sir.
A further clue, that mainwheel decoration hints at the country of origin.
As always, anyone wanting an extended picture, you only need to ask. :)
