It's probably the third of four prototypes that looked nothing like each other and never entered service.
Well, I hope I'm not breaking any rules if I say you're on completely the wrong track there, Joe. Over 3000 of all marks were built including some 1500 just a mile or so from where I lived for 20 years. Of course, as you've no idea where that was, I guess that's not much help. :dunno: :doh:

Mike, I'd like to lodge a formal protest at the award being given to PeterW. I believe he should be disqualified on the grounds that he clearly has inside information! ;) :lol: :agree:

You have the right country of origin, Mick.
Sounds like the cockpit didn't help?

Pete,
I think that my comment to Peter was along the lines of "They don't call you MilesMan for nothing!"

Ah! New rule everyone, If your real name is Boeing, you can't enter for any American types. :agree: :lol:

The portrait actually misled me. In fact, I was Miles away from getting it.

OK, anybody not knowing that it's a Miles Master yet, please put your hand up.
Right, that's over.
From my "expert" analysis of the International Time System, I can report that before "Miles" was posted here, we had two gold winners;
Simon (simondix); and Brian Franklin. :welldone:
