7 Double Doughnut Days

Post by Airspeed »

I mentioned in another topic that in Victoria, we'd had 6 days of 0 new COVID cases, and 0 COVID related deaths.
Today, make that seven in a row. :excited:
Further lifting of restrictions to be announced this Sunday.
Masks will continue to be compulsory.

Mike, I wonder if the rise in temperatures, as you head into your summer season down there, has anything to do with it. As predicted here, the colder weather has brought about the second wave of infections.

...and now it's 8.
Bad news on the TV last night about the new mutation of C that's hit the mink farmers in Europe.
They've had to kill millions of animals.
This variety has passed back to humans, and has developed a way of dodging our immune system.
If this spreads, they said that current vaccinations will be useless.
Best wishes and good luck to everyone.
