Merry Christmas.

Post by 511Flyer »

This is my club aircraft for the VFR Flyers virtual flying club. Over a 15 year period we flew 3-4 times a week with as many as 12 in the air together.

Sadly, there are only 2 of us flying together on a Friday evening. All others have either passed away or just drifted away.

It started yesterday and continues on and I can get no further....Is there a Repair facility or must I uninstall and download it all again for a fresh install ?

Hmm From what I have been reading, it appears that there is a Monlhly Quota which shuts you down when you exceed it...Apparently all will be be back to normal on the first of the month...Well, I will wait and see!

Now that really got my grey cells working as a number of us here used to meet up and fly around, really enjoyed that and it was tremendous fun, in some cases I could not fly the aircraft for laughing so much!!

What!!!!! :-O I did not know that there was a monthly quota for flying on MS2020. Now that is not good for those who rack up their hours flying is it!!

I didn’t know either Nigel and I’ve been busy since shut off, trying to fix a bug by uninstalling things recently installed, in the hope that it would fix my “Bug”...If it proves to be true about the monthly limit then they should fit in some warning about Quota about to run out!

Peter. The data cap is the cap you have set in the sim. Only really useful if you have a monthly limit from your broadband supplier so you can meter the usage. Mine is set to unlimited in the game. Its probably shown up on yours yesterday, as the sim is trying to download the latest update.

It looks a bit of a rigmarole to uninstall xbox app and everything, in the zen desk article But of course its catch 22 You can't get into the sim to reset the data cap until the update download completes 8)

Anyway Merry Christmas to all in these difficult times 🎅🎅🎅

And don't forget, Happy Festivus!

And now for the airing of grievances.....
