Sadly Trevor Peacock, who played Jim Trott in The Vicar of Dibley, has died at the age of 89.

Very sad. :( I had no idea about his musical talents. Rest in peace Trevor. And thanks for the laughs.

How very sad but he reached a very good age and will now be entertaining those who pass through the pearly gates.

Rest in Peace Trevor and many thanks for your contributions in the entertainment world.

Regards
Nigel.

Sad news indeed! I have the Vicar of Dibley series on DVD and always enjoyed Trevor's role. I had no idea of his musical talent and that he wrote Mrs. Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter among others. RIP TREVOR!
