Re: HU Brooklands.....
In this "global" world, it's a pity that there are so many limitations on who can watch what, and where.
I doubt that they'll let me stream it.

It is indeed the first episode of a series of 10. More about the various episodes here: https://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/secret ... sode-guide
Should be good, but I too will have to work out how to watch it first...

Due to shortages and cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off.

Oh dear ! I stuck about half an hour of this, and then we got to the bit with the utterly gormless woman buggering about in the Railton, and I could take no more. Unbelievably, this woman is now the director ......
Re: HU Brooklands.....
It can only get better, can't it? Lots of old geezers like me, but where would it be without them?
How to pump up a tyre on a Harrier? My 10 year old grandson could have told them how to do it.
I was actually at Brooklands yesterday. There is a retail park where I used to work in the VC10 wingshop.

Watched it on UKTV Play.
I liked the bit on the Brooklands "can". It reduced the noise level by 0.8db

GHD, like you watched it on uktv. My parents did their courting on the embankment at Brooklands he, his youngest brother & I became Vickers Apprentices & t'other brother - ex Flt Lt with a DFM, was employed there doing the tech writing for TSR2, but he started there after I left in '64. Youngest brothers ashes in the rose garden!
Back to the exhaust name - my father always called them Brooklands Fishtails used on the cars too - IIRC Velocetes always had them except for the water cooled quiet one used by the police.
Happy days on my Bantam going flat out down the railway straight - all of 55 mph!! Also trying to climb test hill.
