H U UK Channel 4........

Post by Tomliner »

...... Sunday April 18th 21.00 BST.Guy Martin’s Battle Of Brtain, Part 1 of 2. He experiences the training of a BOB pilot. I think it a new prog. Hope it’s better than the Brooklands museum programme! :) EricT

Thanks Eric, just had a look on Freeview, it is listed as 'New' and this is what is written.
Guy Martin trains as a Battle of Britain fighter pilot and prepares to face a Messerschmitt in a dogfight. But his toughest test yet starts with a near disaster on take-off!
He has had quite a few disasters on motor-bikes in his time so why not in aircraft!!

Nigel.

Thanks Eric.

I believe that Guy has broken every bone in his body at least once.

Me too, must get back into the Tiger Moth and do some aerobatics in VR as have not flown it for a while.

Must say his first landing was quite good given that he had only about 2 hours flying.
