Very happy that the flight was a success. :) If they'd knock three zero's off the price I'd fly in a heartbeat.

Great idea, Nigel!  I'm not retired yet, but my airline does have a ZED (Zonal Employee Discount) agreement with Virgin Atlantic. I wonder if Sir Richard would honor that agreement? Being that I'd be departing and arriving from the same airport/spaceport I should only have to pay for travel within a single zone. Sweet!

Thanks for that, Joe!  I asked Mrs. FlyTexas if she was ok if I went into space. She said that she thought I'd really like that. She then asked if insurance would pay if things went horribly wrong on the flight...I told her "Not a chance." She then told me that I could not go into space. :( To make a long story short I've submitted my entry to go into space on the Virgin Galactic space plane. :OB:

I know.. wo 8) men, right?

Ref the bit where you said..-going into space:

That reminds me of when Discovery launched after the Challenger disaster.
A reporter asked then President Reagan what it felt like to being back in space with the launch of Discovery.

Reagan replied.

Well, I've been in outer space for the last 8 years.... :-O :worried:

I still hear his voice saying that, ... Cracks me up to this day.

Of course we found out later. - he was.
