Lucky git! When the end of service was announced I decided to sacrifice one pint a week (student bar prices) and buy a lottery ticket instead, with the hope of winning £8000. Needless to say the beer would have been a better way to spend the money. When it was too late one of my friends pointed out I should have taken my student loan out instead  Would have been a better use of taxpayers money

And now, three years on, I could afford the ticket anyway, but of course, no more Concorde. Hey ho. :-({|=

It was the finest aviation experience of my life. I would have paid the price alone just for the takeoff. AMAZING, and it will always live with me!

gad, with those lists above me, this is gonna look dull.

In chrono order...

Boeing 747-400 [Virgin Atlantic]
Boeing 747-XXX [Virgin Atlantic, might have been a -200]
Boeing 757-200 [ British Airways]
Boeing 757-200 [Thomas Cook]
Boeing 757-200 [Monarch]
Airbus A319 [BMI]
Airbus A320 [BMI]
Boeing 777-200 [British Airways]

Needless to say, the 757 has quickly become my all-time favorate, authough BMI get my favorate airline.

Hopefully im off in an ATR soon. i really want to fly when propelled by props. I have a light aircraft flight oo, to book. that should be good.

Oh, and ---shameless plug--- Photos of the last 3 flights can be seen at http://www.mutleyshangar.com (forum required registration).

and back to you guys classics....
