707 to Australia

Post by righthandseat »

BBC Essex has been highlighting the Quantus 707 rebuild at Southend Airport.
Several reports - found by googling "Quantas 707" among them :-

Pity it can't resume its original registration, but that belongs now to an A330 (was assigned to a Boeing 747 after the 707).

They have been calling it London Southend for many years now along with London Luton

Certainly been selling it locally as London Southend for more than 20 years....we used to poke fun at it in the 'eighties
