Unusual repaint request.....

Post by RobDob »

Evening all

I have a request for some assistance.

Basically, I am after some help with designing a repaint for the Vertigo Studios Vans RV8 which can then be applied to a real version of the aircraft. I have no knowledge of repainting aircraft in FS but as I am building a 'real world' RV8 it seemed the perfect way to experiment with different paint schemes before commiting to painting the 'real thing'.

The only reward I can offer for helping is seeing the paint scheme on the real aircraft and a flight in it. Completion for the aircraft 'should' be around July next year.

If anyone fancies lending a hand, please feel free to get in touch at robdobney(at)hotmail.com.

Cheers all

Rob

Maybe I could help a bit there Rob? Will I need the Vertigo Studios RV8 to do it or can I just do it graphically?

Hi Sean

Thanks for your reply.

You could do it graphically I suppose, anything that is easy to use by the repaint shop so I guess they'd need side, plan & underside views. I just mentioned the Vertigo RV8 as it would be easy to see it applied to the model before the real thing.

Feel free to contact me via e-mail robdobney(@)hotmail.com

Many thanks

Rob
