Yeah, it's the textures, it's present on both the diffuse and spec maps. Unfortunately it's not a separate layer in the paint kit, so it's not easy to get rid of. Possible, but a pain.

Thanks for that Dave. It must have been something I didn't notice before. Anyway, thanks for checking.

Right you are, Dave, and thanks. I wonder if it's on the to-do list for the rumoured service pack.

The Washington repaint below seems to get away with it, but I wonder if the de-icing boots were that big ? I can't seem to get a good comparison with photos of them.

Looking at my repaint masters, it's not too difficult to remove the white bit. :cpu:

The deicing boots do look quite substantial on the real one Paul..

I've updated the zip in the original post with new textures that eliminate the white bits. :) Can't do anything about any other existing paints though.

Excellent, thanks very much Dave. I shall install it over the weekend.

Yes, I suppose they do, don't they. Just maybe a tad too big on the Washington, though ? Not sure - I'll have a look at 'It's Hawg Wild' next time I'm down there, if I can get anywhere near it from the front. Next week, maybe. :)
