Garry's Bristol Freighter

As our friend Garry has gone to the great flying club in the sky, and there will not be any further development of the models he made, would there be any objections to repaints of his Bristol Superfreighter?

I for one would vote yes on that, for without Garry we would not have the Freighter in the first place. It would be a constant reminder of how much he did for us.

I personally don't see why not, as long as they are authentic schemes and not fictitious ones.

Agree

Garry was the main reason we didn't do fictitious schemes here.. at least not in public!! ;)

Garry gave me permission to do one for my Moorabbin Air Museum.
I had trouble with the bit under the front clamshell doors. The rest was fairly straightforward.
Look forward to seeing your results, Pete.

I'm contemplating C.A.T of France, Channel Air Bridge, a version of Silver City, and maybe Sabena, I know Garry was holding these until he'd tweeked the model to represent their particular variants of Superfreighter, but as these won't be with us, I figured why not.

Along the same line, Seaboard and BAF livery for the CL44.

I'm sure we, or rather Garry, did Seaboard, as I did the titles if my memory serves me correctly. I think at least one BAF livery was done too. I was so long ago now I've no idea which beta version they fitted, but will see what I've got.

Cheers
