JYAI FSX F-15's query.

Post by DaveB »

Hi Chaps,

Does anyone have or know of a Lakenheath set for JY's F-15's? I currently use the NBAI model which works well but suffers black glass and looks totally poop. There's no separate glass texture so any change (if possible) would require every paint to be changed and there are many!! JY's models generally suffer over shiny glass in FSX (FSX versions that is) but this is preferable to the 'Hey dude' black glass on Nick's models

Cheers ;)

Dave.. as an afterthought, you don't happen to have a traffic file to go with them do you? Doesn't matter if you don't as I can change the MAIW file to reflect JY's models. It will save me a shed load of time if you do

You want the moon on a stick, you do.

That's been modded from a MAIW original. Can't remember off hand how many different models it uses as I was chopping and changing quite a bit.

Could do with FSX native AI Tornados & Typhoons if anyone knows of any. *-)

Dave, you can use my native FSX Tornado's (converted FS9 FMAI models). The zip file contains the models only, you need to amend your aircraft.cfg to make them work.

And a cheers from this Dave too

While we're at it.. does anyone know of a traffic file for the AI FSX Pave Hawks John Young released for Lakenheath? I find it hard to believe that he went to the trouble of making them yet there seems to be no traffic file (and I've looked). I'm not 100% sure if the MAIW/ACG/et-al Lakenheath comes kitted ready to accept them but you can start at the helicopter pads. I pulled a file from MAIW yesterday that added 95 repaints to his UH60G set and hoped there were traffic files included for the UK but I can't see any.
