Hi I'm chasing a BA livery for the Viscount 700 model. I haven't seen one anywhere. Any help appreciated with this.

I don’t think the Viscount 700 ever wore a BA livery, and that’s probably why it was never done.

That was my understanding. I did see on the Viscount website a couple of 700's that seemed to have been painted in the BA livery around the time of the BEA / BOAC merger. Most likely maybe only a couple and they may not have been in service too much longer anyway.

Just a query. I'll stick to the 800 at least for BA.

no BA livery as all flew in their Cambrian or British Eagle or North East liveries when taken over by BA.

that's why we didn't paint them as Garry Russel wouldn't do fictional paints Bless him
RIP Garry

from memory G-AMOG was only 701 that got painted in BA proper colours but Garry said it was just for BA to show off to Journo's

was then sent to RAF Cosford for Retirement a few month later series 701 SN 7

not used for passenger service just press office.

Regards
Rick
