Tell me

Is it possible to eat one Jaffa cake oor do you relaly have to eat the whole box?

I've been trying for years, the whole box it is every time.

Being dedicated to the cause however I am willing to carry on trying.

I just thought where that 146 could come in useful

They could use it for Darren and Lisa to fly away on holiday in one of those fabric conditioner adverts.

I guess it depends. If suffering from gastric flu or alike, then due to medical circumstance, you may only be able to manage one or two. But if medically fit, I feel it's your duty to consume the entire box!

Keep on trying for the cause Garry, one day and many pallets of boxes later, we may have an answer!

How do you feel on dunking the little blighters in a hot drink. I feel it's a no no, but I would like to know your thoughts.

I feel I must intercede here and give my opinion...
I to feel that the 'dunking' of a Jaffa Cake is sacrilegious..
But...........
What about the chocolate covered Digestive...
I will happily 'dunk' these.
Is it hypocritical of me to do so?

Interesting thought dear boy! Well lets look at it, (takes off glasses and places glasses arm in mouth). The humble digestive, whether chocolate coated or not, has a fine firm structure. This enables the biscuit to be dipped a number of times, before any structural failure. I feel that the chocolate adds that extra layer of bonding and stability.

Whereas the Jaffa Cake, mainly features an outer casing of tough sponge, that, once on contact with warm liquids, begins to soften to the point of structural failure. The resultant being, a warm bloated sponge, that disintergrates in ones mouth. Even with the chocolate, the structure of the afore mentioned cake is an unstable one.

We can conclude that, the chocolate digestive can be dunked and more than once!

Thank you dear boy..
I see your point with regards to the spongey softness of the Jaffa cake...
As opposed to the chocolate covered digestive...
I conclude that here in lies the difference..
The jaffa cake could loosely fall into the classification of a Cake.
Whilst the chocolate covered digestive can only be deemed a biscuit..

Sir , I bow to you superior knowledge of good ,wholesome sweet foods and thank you for enabling me to 'dunk' the humble Chocolate covered Digestive and hold no guilt in doing so..

Yours thankfully
K.

It's only ones duty to his fellow man and professional counter part!

In the words of the great W C Fields "Dunk like you've never dunked before cocker!" (This was said when under the influence!)
