Just done a trawl on eBay (which is easier than going into the loft) and found these examples.
I can't find it facing the other way except on the aircraft. I agree with your aesthetic argument for it facing 'into the wind', Garry but you'll have to take that up with the designers

I realise that's how it is
But I was just pointing out they are technically wrong to do it that way
Which is why I thought at first it was back to front
An early attempt at being modern
They probably paid someone a fortune to break the rules
It like lack of capital letters and "tonite" etc in add all over the place
That how it is...but I would be more than happy to go to these agencies and tell them they are wrong
All a part of being and old fart......hey maybe I could be on the next edition of grumpy old men
