What you are effectively doing is browsing your hard drive via the MFD! If you select [software] and press "hat right", then you should be able to use up and down for your profiles.

The X52 works best WITHOUT the factory software!!

Let XP find its own driver and you will be vey happy!!

If you have already installed the software, uninstall and
do a system restore!! The Three buttons on the throttle
module then can be programed for anything you like!!

A bit of non petol' lub will help the sticky part, we use trombone
slide lube!! DO NOT USE VASILINE!! A bit of dry lube is ok, but
can be messy!!

Thanks Kimber, I'll try to find something suitable and give that a go.

Kimber, the only problem with that is that I wouldn't be able to map Teamspeak's push-to-talk function to the thumb button on the X52 throttle. Or would I ?

Trombone slide lube! Blimey, what with that and your patented cable-tie spring pre-compression technique, you're a mine of handy hints and tips.

Actually Kimber, thinking about it, can you run this XP / X-52 driver thing past me one more time ? I know you've mentioned it before.
