Just to add New Years Greetings from Edinburgh.ATIS at EGPH reports winds at 34 gusting 49 knots with windshear of + and - 20 knots at 500 feet !Very nice!.ATB EricT

Just a quick update-ATIS at EGPH now reporting wind at 240/47 gusting 60 knots.Fingers crossed for eveyone waiting to see the foreworks at midnight,must be a bit unpleasant on the streets.At least we will be able to see them from our daughter's appartment-assuming they aren't cancelled.At least the wind is down the runway.Best Wishes EricT

Well I have just seen the New Year in at work. An odd night shift. Watched all of the fireworks on the airports CCTV.
