Love that old girl. I am still struggling to sleep at night knowing what they did to the one at Hendon.

Don't get me started on poor old XH124... :crying: a criminal act :curse:

T'was that one that got me hooked on the type. I saw it in 1986 and thought it was magnificent, so I made a model of it!

It was far more inspiring than a couple of plastic fighers now in its place.

Such a shame theres only the one survivor now. Theres two other substantial bits (Newark and Aeroventure) but cockpit sections really don't have the same effect , especially with something like a Beverly, then again they're better than nothing surviving!

I really hope they can hurry up and get the last one under cover as Fort Paull isn't in a great position for storing aircraft outside. I believe the owner had planned to build something for it but haven't heard anything for a while.

Well I'd have been happier seeing XB259 go to the Museum at Elvington, which was a possibility.

It depends whether or not it does actually go undercover at Fort Paull or not- It would most likely never go inside at elvington so going to Fort Paull and getting under cover is preferable, having said that if it does end up being outside permenantly at Fort Paull then it is likely to deteriorate faster than it would at Elvington.
