Ah, hate to pick you up on the finer points Dave ( :think: ) but while every butty may technically be a sandwich, not every sandwich can be considered a butty. You’re absolutely right Garry. Bacon Butties are right up there, almost as important the Full English Breakfast. Best not to get started on what constitutes a ‘Full English’, suffice to say if I doesn’t include Black Pudding your not doing it right.

Personally I think that would make it difficult to produce the fried slice that is another vital component of Alex's "Full English", so I don't see one over making it into my kitchen!
