Did I see it live?

Tuned in about 12.30am UK time, with 5 mins to launch. Watched through until about 17 mins after launch (just after main tank separation). I had assumed this was a recording, but each time I log back on, it picks up in real time.
Mant thanks for the heads up.

Cheers

yes you saw it live , after a little while after launch
(about seventeen minutes apparently)
they cut back to replays and then go back to live.
kinda back and forth through out the mission.
so for the next 12 days you can see what going on up there.

WOW

Checked through my 'Temporary Internet Files', hoping that I could save what I had seen. Unfortunately it was not there.
Well worth viewing live.

Cheers

Yep, it was a good clean launch. I liked the comment made concerning the fuel flow rate from the External Tank to the Shuttle's main engines. They said that the fuel flow rate would empty your average swimming pool in 25 seconds.

Dave, sorry to hear ya missed it.
it was , like FLytexas and kevin said< it was a good one
My favorite part is when the shuttle fires her main engines
right before SRB ignition.
and then again when the "go with throttle up" command is given

yeah
throttle this!
anyways.. can you imagine the thrust on yer arse ????
it weighs 4 million 500 thousand (towzand) pounds at lift off
being pushed along by 6,500,000 pounds of thrust.
and within 2/3 of a minute it weighs half as much
right before SRB seperation.
What would that feel like???
would you feel the changes in the physics of the ride your riding in? Getting Lighter as you're going faster?
....and then when you burst the bubble and are weightless
would you feel the invitation to Kiss the dashboard?

... BTW
did any of you know..
by time the time the shuttle has traveled the distance of it's own length from lift off it has already reached the speed of 100 MPH
yeah
think of that in your car ??
..... headsnap!
