Brabazon released on avsim etc.

Post by jensbk »

Hi all,

I just uploaded the Bristol Brabazon (FSX or FS2004) to avsim and flightsim. It should be ready for download in a day or so, if all goes well ;-)

In the near future I have the Short Singapore 1 ready - the prototype of a long series of flying boats from Short, including the Calcutta, Kent and Singapore II/III. The Singapore I was flown by (Sir) Alan Cobham around Africa in 1927.

And I'm working on a DH106 Comet 1, the worlds first jetliner. The exterior is nearly finished, panel etc. just started.

Best regards

In the real world, all those years ago, it caused quite a scandal when a couple of villages were demolished somewhere to make way for a runway on which Brabazon could land.

Good point Garry and I think that this, as much as anything, caused the peasants to revolt (and rightly so) ;-)

Although the Brab isn't my cup of tea, looking forward to the Comet 1 and Short Singapore Jens ;-)
