Xmas come early.....Now wheres me FS9 Vulcan....

Tony
All that power, all that wing, and all that military equipment stripped out, no doubt. She certainly leapt into the air, didn't she.

I read a while back that they found wiring in the bomb bay specifically installed to launch some kind of weapon that she never carried ( depth charges ? Anti submarine torpedoes...something very un-Vulcanish, anyway ). All that came out too.

Which FS9 Vulcan have you got, Tony ? :)

Blimey I am so happy this has happened.

They did it! - I always said they would  I'm so proud of this achievement!

Today, let's just forget all the the things we moan about in this country. Today this country is great, our heritage is superb, and once again an outstanding piece of that heritage is...ALIVE and KICKING!! Congratulations to ALL involved in this incredible project!
Here's to the future of XH558 and may she have many years of flight ahead. :drinkers: CHEERS

And probably not much fuel either. :)

Soooo... has anybody worked out yet how many VC10 tankers it would take to get her - plus the UK's last remaining 1,000lb bomb - over the Iranian nuclear centrifuges?

Come on Tonks - you know you want to!
