I like that idea - it slows the taxi down so the journey takes longer and the meter reads more! Now I know why taxis are so expensive!Use Spoiler key for the Taxi sign and Door key

I gave this cab a speed test at DFW International Airport, making use of one of their 13,000 ft runways. I was able to get the cab up to 141 KTS/87.6 MPH before running out of runway. Can real London cabs move that fast??
Just curious.

Knot to make a big deal out of it but I think it's probably 141 Kph/87.6 MPH. Probably a little bit slower in rush hour. ;-)

Re: Real Classic British Freeware....
No, 141 is definitely Knots as it's at the top of the screenshot. The 84 MPH is the part that doesn't compute. It should be 162 MPH which I guaruntee the real ones can't do.

...and it appears to have only 1 gear judging by the 'sound' files. :oNigel H-J wrote:Errr Brian, the rev limiter appears not to be working!!![]()
